Stephen Roth CFP®
I started my career at Prudential in 2003, right when "financial planning" was becoming a big deal and a lot of baby boomers, including my parents, were retiring. With employer pensions disappearing, people needed personalized guidance and retirement income solutions. Estate planning and saving on taxes became crucial, and using tax-saving wills and trusts was part of the plan.
Starting out with an insurance carrier offered me unique opportunities to work with couples on establishing an estate plan and ensuring the plan is implemented. This unique experience gave me specialized knowledge in estate and tax planning that you wouldn't get through other financial service channels.
Today, couples face more complexity in their financial lives due to rapid digital transformation and changing tax laws. Ongoing financial advice is essential for balancing all aspects of life to enhance overall well being. My goal is to leave the couples I work with better off than before. This involves setting personal and unique goals to establish accurate targets for savings and meet necessary cash flow amounts. By doing so, we can avoid comparing ourselves financially with others as a benchmark for happiness.
Understanding our true potential and staying on track to pursue it can alleviate financial anxiety and improve work-life balance.I was born with a massive curiosity for people and things, and I am fascinated by what motivates us in our lives. My family motivates me to be supportive and strive to be a better father, son, husband, coach, teacher, golfer, snowboarder, and chef.
